Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Generative AI. We operate a specialised Centre of Excellence providing cutting-edge data services and AI-driven solutions to global leaders, including:

Built Environment, Passivhaus Plus & Ecological Data A core pillar of our practice is delivering the precise environmental, spatial, and ecological data the modern built environment requires. We specialise in two highly technical areas:

• Passivhaus Plus Surveys: Because Passivhaus Plus buildings must generate as much renewable energy as they consume, precision is critical. We provide highly detailed environmental and geospatial surveys to support this standard, including:

  • Microclimate & Topographical Data: Capturing localised weather patterns, shading, and site orientation data to maximise solar PV generation and passive solar gains.

  • Geospatial Energy Modelling: Providing the open-source datasets required by architects and engineers to accurately model thermal bridging, airtightness, and year-round energy balance.

  • Regulatory & Compliance Mapping: Integrating land, environmental, and infrastructure data to streamline the planning and certification process for ultra-low energy developments.

• Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) & Urban Rewilding: We map and quantify ecological restoration to meet stringent environmental planning standards. A prime example is our data involvement with the Ealing Beaver Project at Paradise Fields. By tracking and measuring net biodiversity gain, we help quantify the real-world impacts of urban rewilding—such as natural flood mitigation, improved wetland water quality, and the expansion of micro-habitats created by these keystone species.

Portfolio of Success

We've unlocked complex data for the public good and global infrastructure. Recent milestones include:

• Global Pandemic Response: Delivered new open datasets for governments across the UK, Europe, the US, and Asia to strategically plan and deploy COVID-19 testing and vaccination centres.

• UK Geospatial Commission: Successfully advocated and consulted on the open-sourcing of Unique Property Reference Numbers (UPRNs).

• HM Land Registry: Facilitated the opening of critical new datasets regarding UK property transactions.

• UK Open Data Institute: Partnered to open crucial data pipelines for UK mapping and geospatial infrastructure.
